Sage 50 Version 2016 - New features and benefits: 
Sage 50 has everything a small business could need to grow and this latest update, Version 2016,  has some exciting new features too. 
Sage have taken note of some customer feedback and so many of these features are a direct result of customer requests. This version offers much more flexibility and what was once impossible is now possible!! 

Read on where I have listed some of these new features and the benefits they will bring to Sage 50 V2016 Users......

Streamlined User Interface:

One of the points made by current users was the fact that they would like a more streamlined and easy-to-use interface for Sage 50. Sage have listened and the navigation on Sage 50 Version 2016 has been more simplified and tabs have moved from horizontal to vertical. 

New analysis boxes have been added to invoices, orders and quotations and these can be customised to suit your business needs

Error Corrections: 

The new Sage 50 Accounts Version 2016 is the only version that will allow you to unallocate payments and credits. Made an error on a journal? You no longer need to reverse it, you can now go in and simply edit any errors or mistakes made. This will make it much more efficient and so much quicker as there will be no need to go back and start all over again! I think this feature will be very popular.

Flexibility in Invoicing: 

Flexibility is so important to help businesses do things in a way that suits them. I am glad to see that in this latest version of Sage 50 Accounts Version 2016, YOU are in control of which information you choose to appear as a transaction reference when you enter invoices or purchase orders on the system. This option is also available for the extra reference drop-down. 

Multiple Bank Transfers: 

The bank transfer option has been updated in Sage 50 Version 2016 so its now easier and quicker to transfer monies between accounts. There is a new batch-entry screen which means it is possible to enter numerous transactions simultaneously. I think this will save time and make it much more efficient, especially for anyone who enters these transactions on a weekly or monthly basis. 

Aged Balance Analysis: 

Improvements have been made to the Aged Balance Analysis so that you can now drill right down and see which transactions make up each balance and using a smart-link, you can view the original invoice or the credit details. This takes so much hassle out of trawling through all of your paperwork to see the details on one invoice! 


Bank Feeds powered by Yodlee*

Bank Feeds allows you to bring your Live bank data directly into your Sage 50 Accounts. This can save time, eliminate errors and make the bank reconciliation much easier. 


Enhanced Invoice Payments*

With Sage Pay Invoice Payments, you can add a Pay Now option to invoices and statements so customers will have the option to make payments to you online and accept credit card payments by telephone. This will all integrate seamlessly with Sage 50 Accounts.
